Lots going on at the Museum on Wednesday August 31st

Wednesday looks set to be another busy day at the Museum (do we have any other kind at the moment!  We’re having a great summer!)

2pm: Folklore and Magic walk setting out from the Museum at 2pm with folklorist and author Steve Patterson.  The walk costs £7 (price includes a visit to the Museum).  It takes about an hour and a half, you will need sensible shoes.  The walk explores the folklore of Boscastle and connects the Museum with its location.  A chance to learn more about the Museum, local history and also the Museum’s founder: Cecil Williamson.

5pm and 8pm: there will be two performances of “WITCH” on Wednesday night, one at 5pm and one at 8pm.  Tickets are £10 per person.  The play lasts around an hour and is suitable for children aged 12 or over.  This great play has been written with the Museum in mind and its set is the Museum library.  The play explores the witch trials of the early modern period in all their drama and complexity.  Book your tickets now!  For more details and a full list of dates for this play see:  http://museumofwitchcraftandmagic.co.uk/event/witch-play-performed-in-the-museum-library-this-summer/
