Straw Art outside the Museum
The Museum will be visited by Gillian Nott, the Cornmother herself, on the weekend nearest Lammas (July 28th-29th). Gillian will be here from around 11am-2pm each day (weather permitting) to demonstrate her straw skills and to discuss with visitors the significance of this form of art including the custom of “Crying the Neck”.
If you are in the area, do pop down to say “hello”, have a look at some beautiful Cornish traditions and celebrate the season with us.
No need to book, free to attend.
