Bon Voyage and thanks Stephany!

Bon Voyage and thanks Stephany!

As our regular readers will know, Stephany Flynn has been working in the Museum for the past few weeks and we have greatly benefited from her considerable archiving talents.  We were all very sad to see her leave Boscastle, but she has left us having archived hundreds of documents which have added considerably to our knowledge of the collection.  In addition to all this, Stephany produced important resources for future archivists and volunteers to use, catalogued the Cerridwen Connelly collection, helped us make the transition to our new archive/object catalogue and website, and undertaken important research into our herb collections.  She was a pleasure to work with and we are sure that she will have a very bright future.

All the best Stephany! (here are some photos of you!)

A very nice picture of Stephany looking happy. She was not happy when she realised Peter had asked her to number things incorrectly!

Stephany tackles the Cerridwen Connelly collection.  That took a while… and the thumbs up doesn’t look that enthusiastic.

Not Stephany, but Stephany’s photo of Head Archivist Tom.  Tom kept an eye on Steph throughout her stay.

Although not yet released in the UK, American patriot Stephany had the new Pokemon app game thing.  She found one of the little b’s in the Museum library.

Stephany oversees the other American students – only high ranking archivists were allowed to seat in cathedra baphomet.
