Our forthcoming January 6th event is a cultural “top pick” for the New Year

We were very pleased to spot a Museum of Witchcraft and Magic event on Cornwall 365’s website featuring the top Cornish cultural and creative picks of the New Year.  We only have about ten tickets left for the Ghost Stories now, they can be bought online here: http://www.circleofspears.com/store/c6/Tickets.html

You can read all about it (and see the other recommended events) here:

We are really looking forward to this event which has been organised for the Museum by Troy Books, The Cornish Cultural Association and Circle of Spears Productions.

Here is a plan for the day:

12-5pm: Museum open (last entry 4.30pm)

From 5pm: Traditional Ghost Stories in the National Trust Cafe (next door to the Museum) It is essential that you pre-book your tickets (only 20 left!)  http://www.circleofspears.com/store/c6/Tickets.html

From 6.30pm: Guize processions with Penzance’s Raffidy Dumitx Band, guize dancing and Chalking the Mock ceremony to mark the death of the old year and the birth of the new.  Free event, not ticketed, taking place outside the Museum in Boscastle Harbour.
