Small grey and white stone mainly consisting of tiny sparkling crystals (quartz?).

Part of a collection of minerals, crystals and gemstone jewellery that belonged to Julia Pearce. She also had several books on the magical and healing properties of crystals and gemstones, now in the museum library.

The white parts of the stone are quite soft, and may be china clay.
