3732 – Green Man bowl

Physical description:

Green bowl with black, gold, orange leaves, ivy and oak leaves around the rim.

Information:

For many years, this bowl rested inside the Shrine. In January 2017, it was taken out, catalogued and displayed on the outside of the Shrine.

Writing on the back says: With love and light Pennymoon (with a crescent moon picture and stars) Beltane 2003.

Sadly, on the morning of 27th July 2021, this dish was found smashed on the floor, it follows a series of objects moving inside their cases over the last couple of weeks, an uptodate example of spirit activity within the museum?

3740 – Green Goddess with leaves and pomegranate

Mostly green terracotta figure of seated woman. She has leaves as hair and is sitting on a watery effect. In one hand, she is stroking her pregnant stomach, in the other she is holding a pomegranate. She has a little brown mouse behind her.

3734 – Clay headless Goddess figure

Made from clay or terracotta. Orange colour. Stylised female figure sitting with legs under her and hands on her legs. A rounded form with exaggerated lower body, legs and arms, and small feet and hands. No head. Hollow.

3735 – Seated Goddess figure with no arms

Seated Goddess figure, made of red clay or terracotta, with a crescent moon on her forehead. She is sitting in a position similar to the yoga lotus pose, but her arms have been lost. She still has her hands (they are resting on her knees), and her face is still rather lovely.
