The working tools of a witch.
These items have been donated to the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic by Mary Rands a Scottish witch now living in London. These tools and cords all belonged to her sister Jane who died in 1986 aged 57. Jane was initiated into the craft in the 1940's and worked with Alex Sanders and others in the Manchester area. She knew Alex as a magician not as the famous witch he was to become. Her hand made tools are good examples of their type. Jane continued practising the craft and using these tools until 6 months before her death
