A beautiful Hawthorn wand decorated with a pyrography design.

The Hawthorn is a tree of magic and enchantment and is strongly associated with Beltane. In Celtic mythology it is one of the most sacred trees and symbolises love and protection. 

This is a wand that combines strength with elegance. The base wood is a satiny ivory colour, and the pyrography is a rich chestnut brown.

Hand crafted in Cornwall specially for the Museum by Paul Atlas-Saunders.
