A traditional Cornish good luck charm.
A pendant consisting of a pewter Crossed Keys amulet hanging from a chain. The Crossed Keys represent St Peter and the keys of Paradise, and are a replica of an amulet on display in the Museum.
‘Heaven’s door keys’ are mentioned in the healing charm used by the famous Pendle witches, and the crossed keys symbol features on the Heirophant card created by Pamela Colman Smith for the Rider-Waite tarot pack.
This is part of our new range of exclusive jewellery inspired by objects in our collection.
Made in Cornwall. The amulet is approximately 3cm (1.25″) tall. Boxed.
