Mano Cornuto (Horns) Hand Amulet Pendant
Based on amulets on display in the Museum.
The Eye of Horus was one of the most popular amulets in Ancient Egypt, representing the protective power of the Falcon God Horus. This version combines the Eye symbol with the Uraeus Serpent, another symbol of protection which formed part of the crown worn by the Pharaoh.
A beautiful design in gold-coloured metal.
Approximately 1.5 cm (0.75″) tall and 2.5 cm (1″) wide. Strung on a black cord so that it can be worn round the neck or wrist.
