A pair of slender copper dowsing rods.
The use of dark mirrors for divination was introduced into European magic in the 16th century, when Spanish Conquistadors returning from Mexico brought back ritual mirrors looted from the Aztecs. Like these early mirrors, ours are made of obsidian, a natural black volcanic glass.
These mirrors are cut from stone, so sizes and shapes may vary. They are roughly circular in shape and approximately 14cm (5.5″) in diameter. Because obsidian is a natural substance, there may be strata lines or variations in colour.
The mirrors are supplied with a black cloth bag and information leaflet.
