Crossed Keys Pendant
Replica of an amulet on display in the Museum.
An unusual and magical necklace that combines dried rowan berries – a traditional folk charm – with an elegant silver-coloured metal pentacle.
Red berries are traditionally a symbol of life, bringing creative energy and warding off misfortune. The pentacle is an ancient symbol of harmony and protection.
The berries are a coppery brown colour and are strung on red thread. The necklace is approximately 60 cm (23″) long, with a simple bar and ring fastening.
Part of our range of jewellery inspired by objects in the Museum’s collection.
