artist 2020 at the MWM – open days
Please do not travel to an artist2020 Open Day without prior confirmation of a place.
-The scheduled Open Days are now full and are at 100% capacity
-A further date for remaining registrants will be added in November 2019
-Places for open days which do become available are allocated strictly in the order in which applications were received
-Please do not travel to an artist2020 Open Day without prior confirmation of a place made by the Museum
-Confirmation of a place is mandatory for admission
-No new registrants are being added to the existing dates
We received several hundred applications and expressions of interest for artist 2020, many more than we expected. We are delighted by your responses which have come from emergent, established, and instinctive artists from a wide variety of backgrounds.
This is a happy outcome for an inaugural bursary scheme which allows applications from emerging and established artists.
In response to the exceptional numbers of expressions of interest, the deadline for completed applications has been extended to 30th November 2019.
In order for an application to be valid please note:
-Expressions of interest may be made before 30th September 2019
-Full applications via an online form must be received by 30th November 2019
-Applications made only via the online forms. Emails with links or attachments will not be opened or read.
The Museum receives no public funds. Artist Bursaries funds are entirely received from The Friends of The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, and open to applications from artists working in all media and disciplines.
