Chanting and Chanting II CDs new edition now available
Above: the new front cover shows the top gallery of the Museum with the hare statue, Horned God and Sabbat painting. This is where the chants now play daily.
For over twenty years, beautiful chants have played daily in the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic. They were initially available to buy on cassette tape. Then for many years, they were available as two separate CDs and were available to buy from the Museum shop and online shop. At the end of last year, we sold out of the original CDs. It seemed like a good chance to re-issue the CDs with new artwork and a new booklet. We are delighted to announce that the new double CD is now available to buy from our online shop and in the Museum itself for £10.

The booklet contains some images of and from the top gallery (where selected chants now play) as well as the words of the chants and some memories of recording it by the artists on it (Liz Crow, Heike Robertson and Carole Talboys). The CDs are made to look like the moon. The cover and back cover photographs were taken by Carol Keith (a Friend of the Museum). Thanks to everyone involved for making this CD such a success. It is selling well to Museum visitors.
