It will be seen that the sum of each of the three vertical, the three horizontal, and the two corner diagonal columns in this square is 15, making in all eight columns having that total; also that the sum of any two opposite numbers is 10, which is twice the centre number. It is therefore a perfect square of 3 x 3.
The swastika is 83 mm. in height. Grootste dikte [largest thickness] 8 mm., palmhout [palmwood], koperen hangoog op ijzeren schroef [copper hanging-ring on iron screw].
