Silver Acorn necklace
When Doreen Valiente passed to the Summerlands, she asked that her ashes be scattered beneath her favourite oak tree, close to the grove that was sacred to her, near to the South Downs in East Sussex. Two of the people present picked a tiny acorn from the tree in remembrance… Those two people were Ray and Lynda Lindfield who took the acorn home, cast it and created a necklace in solid silver and kindly gave it as a present to the Museum’s director. Now, these silver acorn necklaces will be specially made, in very small batches, exclusively for the MWM.
