The snake ‘A’ forms a circle over line ‘A B’ A cock’s head, twice, crest = ‘a’, brow = ‘e’, eye socket = ‘g’, eye lid = ‘s’, eye = ‘k’. Notes: ‘Aanvulling [supplement] no. 7 bij Aant. [with notes] 1953, fol. 226i: “The symbol of the snake, born from the ancient cults of the sun-worship, is one of the oldest talismanic emblems”, &c, “an archetypal image of the sexual and chthonic powers”, &c, zie [see] F4.
