Information:

This foetus-style terracotta figure of a child was recovered from a bricked up wall tomb found in a house in Okehampton during building alterations and modernisation in 1934. When shown to a local witch she reported that she had heard tell of such things being made and used in that area, but had never seen one before in the hand. But no doubt it was intended as a familiar's poppet. (From text by Cecil Williamson)
