Text by Cecil Williamson: 'This is a west country made charm bag - open it and that is what you find inside. Something sewn inside a small bit of cloth. Stop. Whatever you do, never - repeat, never - open a witch made charm. I have owned this one for over thirty years, and would not dream of opening it. Well, I can tell you some tales about clever dick up-country town folks who have laughed and said "what a lot of balls". Well, all I know is that their inquisitiveness cost them dear. Some do have very nice tombstones all shiny bright stone things with gold letters.'
