Text by Cecil Williamson: The heart shape cut from red material nail clippings and pins. See page number one of any witch's handbook for DIY pin sticking magic. This motif was being used in 1066 and is still in everyday use. There must be scores of the little things tucked away all over Devon and Cornwall.'
