1890 – Ashtray: Advertisement

Small tin ashtray, decorated in black and red with a picture of a woman (glamorous but clearly 'housewife') riding on a brush, with her house in the background. Advertising Betterwear brushes.

1939 – Game – Witchcraft

Delightful game for children, involving wooden witches moving round a board looking for ingredients for magic potions (represented by illustrated counters which are stashed in wooden cauldrons).
