4005 Ampulla Pilgrim Badge

Physical description:: A pouch-shaped clay-coloured lead ampulla. Used as a miniture flask to hold holy water by pilgrims. It has a shield motif on one side, and on the other side a very worn flower-like motif. Medieval.

4006 Pilgrim Badge or Lover’s Token

A very dark grey pewter Pilgrim badge or lover's token, with an almost cartoonish male face in the centre, surrounded with a roughly hexagonal frame. 14th or 15th century.

4007 Pilgrim Badge

A very small dark grey pewter Pilgrim Badge, in the shape of a heart pierced with an arrow. Across the heart there is a scroll containing very minute lettering, and there is a crown at the top. 14th or 15th century.

3749 – Black Madonna Statue

Black Madonna statue, with the Virgin depicted wearing gold and blue robes and a gold crown-like headdress. She is holding red flowers in her right hand, and her robes incorporate roundels of Biblical scenes.
