Part of the collection donated by Tanith Burcombe, left to her by her late mother Celia Penney, magical name Francesca, High Priestess of a Wiccan Coven.

Athames can be used for circle casting and directing energy.

This athame belonged to Gerald Gardner and was given by him to Francesca.

The eight-spoked symbol, which occurs on many magical objects, symbolises the eight paths to the centre.
