A biography of Crowley which places the emphasis on his magic, and is largely sympathetic.
Israel Regardie was Crowley's secretary for four years, and was also a member of Stella Matutina, an organisation connected to the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which gained him access to many of the Orders documents.
From the library of Paul Newman, author of The Tregerthen Horror: Aleister Crowley, DH Lawrence and Peter Warlock in Cornwall (Museum Library id. no. 133.4092 CRO NEW 4431).
