3231 – Wands with coloured thread

Physical description:: wands made of rowan wood, bound with various coloured threads. There is bark with lichen still attached (protected with sealant) at the handle end, and just below it an interesting natural marking, suggesting a horseshoe or a symbol of the Horned God.

3228 – Wand

A wand made of elder wood, with a willow tip, bound with various coloured threads. The end (which is vaguely animal-shaped) has been lightly burned to blacken it. The willow tip is bound with copper wire.

3229 – Wand

A wand made of apple wood, bound with various coloured threads and copper wire. The bark has been left on the handle end.

3230 – Wands with coloured thread

A wand made of rowan wood, bound with various coloured threads, with the bark left on the handle end, and with half a hazel nut and a piece of green beach glass set into the handle. There are also three small pieces of iron fixed halfway down the wand.
