A ceramic saucer sized dish. It is in the shape of a rounded square, with an image of the Witches Mill in the centre. This is bordered by zodiacal signs. Good condition.

Witches Mill Souvenir Dish

A souvenir dish manufactured for the Witchcraft Museum when it was housed in the Witches Mill on the Isle of Man. Rounded square saucer-sized dish with central circular colour image of the Mill and a witch flying on a broom in the sky. The image is bordered with zodiacal signs.

A maker's stamp on the reverse reads 'Sandland Ware / Lancaster & / Sandland Ltd / Hanley / Staffordshire / England

3962 – Teapot from The Witches’ Mill

Classic mid-century "blue of Devon" style souvenir teapot. Deep azure blue blue slip covering most of the pot, the uppermost 2 cm or so a bare white/cream colour. The writing is engraved through showing the white/cream underneath. Excellent condition.

3991 – Museum Postcard

Colour postcard from the early days of the Museum in Boscastle, showing a tableaux of two scantily clad female figures, one sprawled on her back on an altar. A detailed caption on the back refers to this as the 'Altar of the Living Dead'. There is an interesting painting, probably by Steffi Grant, hanging above the altar.
