3996 – Witch’s Head Jug

Physical description:: A jug in the shape of a witch's head. The face is naturalistic, elderly with grey hair, but with the usual cliched warts and prominent nose. The handle is a cream-coloured greyhound-like dog. Labelled 'The Pendle Witch' on the base. With box.

3846 – Pendle Witch Figure

Figure of a witch on a broomstick, dressed in black. Though basically stereotypical, she has a pleasant face (nicely detailed), and is generally portrayed in a sympathetic manner.

4091 – Pair of Miniature Cauldrons

A pair of small but heavy miniature brass cauldrons, with depictions of witches on them. On one side there is a witch on a broom, and on the other two witches with a cauldron hanging from crossed poles. The casting is rather basic and worn, but the effect is lively and entertaining. Late Victorian.
