Witches make use of shadows taken from a person in one way or another for making magic, remember Peter Pan and his shadow trouble? Here in the south west witches not only steal shadows but they work footstep magic, that is they lift a person's foot print and do their hexing with that. This is an example of a fisherman's foot step lifted and fenced in. With it the witch has the person's spirit, now she can start to infiltrate the person's mind. (From text by Cecil Williamson)
