An example of the west country witch's 'man in the moon' wishing mirror. This mirror is of considerable age. Its last owner was Mrs Goodman of Plymouth. Moon mirrors are used with the moon's light, involving a lengthy ritual. (Adapted from text by Cecil Williamson.) Original Cecil Williamson text: "An example of the west country witches beloved "man in the moon" wishing mirror. The mirror is of considerable age. It is steeped in spirit force, but has never worked well since its last witch owner, Mrs Goodman, of Plymouth, passed on. Moon mirrors are used and worked with the moon's light. The ritual is lengthy and needs some understanding."
