Wand made by Upperhundred Priest Nicholas Woodley, in the style of Buckinghamshire barley twist used by the bodgers in furniture making, but also by local Chiltern and Buckinghamshire witches in magical carving. (The use of the barley twist in ordinary furniture may well have derived from its magical use.)
