Information:
'El Conjuro o Las Brujas' ('The Conjuration or The Witches'), painted 1797-8. There are some interesting details. One of the witches is sticking a large pin into an image, another holds a basket of apparently dead babies, another is reading from a book. The sky is full of shadowy owls, and floating just above the witches is a male figure, dissolving into cloud, holding what looks like two human bones.
