Notes: Ter verduidelijking van [for explanation of] afb. [figure] 501, Mircea Eliade: “The so-called Cross of Atlantis, an ancient symbol allegedly showing the three concentric walls of the capital city and the great waterway entering from the south”, &c, zie Aant. [see notes] 1947, fol. 245. (verzameling [collection] Dufour).
This Cross of Atlantis is ‘a’. Cross shape ‘c’ might be a kind of variation on this. Four other crosses are seen in ‘d’. ‘b’ consists of a sigil and the word: ‘septentrion’.
