4205 – Horned God Head

- A large Horned God Head - the Head of Atho - constructed out of wood in a deliberately rough manner, with two cow horns, and red glass eyes rimmed with bone. There are various symbols inscribed on the statue.

- Part of a collection of objects associated with the American Coven of Atho, which was itself inspired by the British Coven of Atho of the 1950s and 60s. - Inspired by the Head of Atho that was the central artefact of the original Coven of Atho, and was alleged to be an ancient statue 2200 years old. The basic wooden structure of this version very cleverly suggests an ancient wooden artefact of the kind that might be recovered from a peat bog.
