The title of the painting, 'Baphomet Madonna', is a reference to the teachings of the Process Church regarding the unification of opposites. It was painted in 2015 (year of the Metal Goat) for the "Black Light, Black Acid" installation at the 'Come To The Sabbats: Festival of the Dark Arts', which was inspired by the ways the 60s occult revival affected the counterculture.
