4128 – African Amulet

Physical description:

A charm or amulet consisting of a piece of iron, rather phallic in shape, or perhaps intended to resemble an animal's tusk, very rusty, with a large loop at one end, and a ring through the loop.

4130 – African Amulet

An amulet consisting of a piece of iron shaped like a thick needle, with a loop at one end, and another iron object that looks a bit like a pair of tweezers (though the top section is too thick to allow the ends to touch), both attached to an iron ring. There is a tangle of light-coloured thread attached to the tweezers-like object. All the iron is very rusty.

4129 – African Amulet

An amulet (or perhaps tool) consisting of a cylindrical piece of wood with a roughly rectangular piece of thin iron, rather blade-like, and very rusty, attached to it. A short piece of twisted leather thong goes through a hole in the piece of wood.

4131 – African Amulet

An amulet consisting of a flask made of, or covered in, pale-coloured leather or similar animal hide. There is snake skin wrapped around the base of the neck, and leather thong plaited elaborately around the top of the neck. It is sealed with a wooden stopper.
