Detailed description: The rectangular box has two carved ivy leaves on the lid, and a small metal pentacle has been added in the gap between them. The box inside is wrapped in a black chiffon scarf, and is made out of a single piece of golden brown wood with a highly patterned grain. It is roughly coffin-shaped and contains a fabric doll wearing a green dress with a floral pattern in yellow on the boddice, green shoes and a red-brown cap. The style of dress suggests the doll is from continental Europe rather than Britain. The box is lined with flocked paper, and stuck into this under the lid are thirteen black-headed pins, made by fixing black glass beads to conventional pins. There are another four of these pins in the main part of the box. Also attached inside the lid is a Fums Up doll. In the box there are also two black candles, a piece of green wax, and five pieces of square-sectioned wood 6 cm long.- Resource:
