2155 – Shield

Circular ritual shield, made of dark green leather, with symbols in brass studs and gold paint.

Red deer antlers, attached to part of the skull. There are holes in the skull (for cords for tying?). Two twig crosses bound with white wool are tied to the antlers, and there is a silver ring (with a leaf pattern) on one tine.

Large khaki-coloured canvas travel bag with leather handle and caramel-coloured leatherette trim. Belonged to Gerald Gardner.
