Part of a collection of magical objects that belonged to Iain Steele.
This shield was on his altar, in the centre at the back.
The symbols consist of antlers and a symbol suggesting a dragon in the centre; symbols of the sun and moon; a spiral; and a cauldron sprouting ears of corn.
There are the same symbols on the stone no. 2170.

This was one of a group of objects loaned to Bristol Museum and Art Gallery for an exhibition in 2019.
