The lotus wand is a ritual tool that the Adept (member grade of the order) uses in the Golden Dawn system. The shaft of the wand is divided into 12 parts, each with its own colour, and a corresponding zodiac sign, as pictured below.

The Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie describes the make-up of the wand, its use, and consecration.

The above information can also be found in the handwritten manuscript in object 3923. Below is a page from the manuscript which shows Isis holding the Lotus Wand.

The table below illustrates how the zodiac, colours, and other features correspond with each other.

The Equinox by Aleister Crowley makes a mention of the lotus flower, as pictured below.

This wand is also featured in the Hidden Lore: Hermetic Glyphs by Kenneth and Steffi Grant, pictured below.

The Lotus Wand is associated with the Egyptian goddess Isis, who was a protective goddess. She used powerful magic spells to help people in need. Isis was the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus - the other two Egyptian gods associated with the other two wands in a set (objects 1411 and 1412.).
Possibly made by George Alexander. A catalogue and price list of magical artefacts made by him, showing a staff very like this one, is held in the museum archive.- Resource:
