From the Cecil Williamson object label collection (archive document no.7997):

"To bury the sun. This is an unusual charm and I know of no other case outside of the South West the witch has made use of the old time sun fire office insurance symbol, still to be seen on the outside walls of of [sic] old houses. This symbol of the sun's face together with a written statement cursing the victim together with a pig's heart are buried in a churchyard at night to the full accompanyment [sic] of the burial service. After five months and five days the witch reclaimed her lead sun symbols for future use."
