Part of a collection of magical objects (MoW id nos 2522-2556) owned by Gerald Gardner and exhibited at the Witches Mill on the Isle of Man. Has accompanying folder of documentation.
The accompanying documentation describes it as a "silver moon talisman... used in astrology by a witch, circa 1740".
It bears an interesting resemblance to Tibetan Buddha Eye amulets.
