4227 – Elder Wand

Part of a collection of objects bequeathed to the Museum by Jake Stratton-Kent, who died on 17th January 2023.
According to information provided with the bequest:
'As a folk necromancer Jake worked with the spirits of the Grimorium Verum. [This] is the Frimost wand made from Elder, cut on the day and hour of Mercury at the crescent moon.'
This wand was loaned to the Vertigo Syndrome Exhibition in Milan in 2024.
